When Hurt, Do We Immediately Retaliate Against The Person Who Hurt Us Or Do We Suffer In Silence And Surrender Our Pain To God?

When hurt, do we immediately retaliate against the person who hurt us or do we suffer in silence and surrender our pain to God?

If I will have to recall my old self, I could say I do get back to people who have hurt me, I can't get over until I make them taste their own dose of medicine. In short I wanted to get even irregardless of how and when. But now, as I am trying my best to become a good and bitter free christian, I just burst out all my grievances with God. The rest, I leave it all to Him.
Thank you for posting this topic:-)God bless you Sir Mel.

Hi Yen,
I am so glad that you have changed your perspective in life. You are right. It is easier to retaliate but our retaliation will provoke a counter retaliation from the person we hurt. And before we know it, we are already drawn in a full blown warfare. God said vengeance is mine. Let us just surrender our hurts to God. He will know what is best for all of us. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

The first thought if I get hurt is to get even with the person who have hurt me but in the end I realized we are still defeated because we hurt them

If I hurt through my own actions...I will suffer it in silence and will surrender my pain to God....:)

if someone hurt me or my family first, I will hurt them more than they hurt me...ganon kasi akong tao KuyaMel...I'm not GOD..I'm just human! I'ts humans nature to fight back. If you slap me once I'll slap you twice...d naman ako trouble maker...hehehhee....pag inunahan lang ako, I'll get feisty.

Hi Anne,
Retaliating when we are hurt by others only leads to disillusionment because we realize that we also hurt another person. Then we lose our moral ascendancy over them. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Arvin,
You make me laugh but I admire your candor. But it is best that we avoid having enemies. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Hi Dhemz,
I am still laughing while I am writing this reaction to your comment. I like your statement that if someone slaps you once you will slap him twice. The Lord says that we offer the other face if we are slapped. But when someone slaps you once you will slap him twice. Speaking of calculated response, yours is an overkill, hehehe, lol. I would never want to tangle with you, ehehehe, lol. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hi Dhemz,
I remember the first picture of you I saw in your blog. You were in your taekwondo suit at very intimidating ang dating. Parang nakakatakot makabangga. But now your photos are more feminine and alluring. Babaeng babae ka na, hehehe, lol. I like your newer pictures, very feminine talaga, huwag ka lang maninipa nang balls, ngeeek. Thanks again for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
